is DAB?
Digital Audio Broadcast
(DAB) or Digital Radio, is a new technology that is
revolutionising the way you will listen to radio.
The unique technology
removes sound distortion, which can be heard on normal FM/AM
Radio. You can now enjoy radio programmes with digitally-clear
sound and interference-free reception. Additional radio and
data services are also made possible with this advanced
technology. |

NewsRadio. |

AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
DAB offers much more than
just sound. Text, graphics and video capabilities are
available as well. Find out the song title, artist's name,
traffic information or even "live" stock market indices
on the LCD (Liquid Display) panel. |
| TUNING
MADE EASY
There is no need to search
for radio stations as you would do for FM/AM Radio. The DAB
radio stations can be easily located from their listing on LCD
panel. |
| RECORD
YOUR FAVOURITE PROGRAMMES & SONGS
Record and playback your
favourite songs from the flash memory service or MultiMedia Card (MMC).
At the same time, you can enjoy listening and recording songs from
other stations. Applicable to selected DAB sets. |

CAN I ENJOY DAB RADIO?
Available in different
colours, shapes and sizes, you can mix and match DAB radios to
your home environment. Some models allow you to pause the
radio and talk on the phone without missing a thing. Some
even come with useful timers.

DO I TUNE IN TO DAB?
The DAB network covers
Singapore islandwide, which means you can tune in anytime,
anywhere! All you need is a DAB receiver to enjoy the
revolutionary services. Existing FM/AM radio receivers, even
those with digital display screens, are not programmed to receive
DAB radio stations.
When purchasing a DAB
receiver, the following logo carried on the set will ensure that
it is able to receive DAB radio stations.
