Lars & Ivan
are a team of designers and engineers who have been working in the
industry
for more than 15 years. The development of the Lars & Ivan
product range started in the year 2000. The first product was a
basic corded phone, which evolved to the Artphone concept in 2002.
We cleared the copyright of some artworks and printed the pictures
onto a film.
By using a process similar to lamination, the colorful artwork
could be firmly adhered
to telephone casings. Artphone became a benchmark as well as a
trademark for Lars & Ivan products - Imaginative, functional
and original creations. The
Japanese ID magazine AXIS, Nov/Dec 2002 selected Artphone as one
of the 100 best design prototypes. In 2002, to complement our
designer telephone range, we launched the 2nd series of corded
designer phones - the WingPhones. Once again, the designs
met our strict criteria : modern, beauty, quality and comfort.
In
2003, inspired by the masterpiece hi-fi loudspeaker Rogers LS3/5a,
Lars & Ivan decided to develop our own loudspeakers. This led
to the birth of Bobo and Qoqo, our
first range of loudspeakers. We released the design prototype in
the Autumn of
2003 and our design was once again selected by AXIS Nov/Dec 2003
issue. At
Lars & Ivan, the development of all our products are fuelled
by our passion, excitement and dedication.
To conclude, Lars & Ivan products are for unique personalities
who will not settle for popular convention. People who buy
our products are innovators who are willing to express their
lifestyle choices to the world.
